Leading businessman Sir Charles Masefield joins The Genii Group as a strategic advisor

A former President of BAE Systems, Sir Charles Masefield will provide counsel to The Genii Group across all of its business activities.

Luxembourg, June 11, 2012

The Genii Group today announced the appointment of Sir Charles Masefield into a key advisory position.  Sir Masefield will provide strategic guidance to The Genii Group across every division including: Genii Finance, Genii Real Estate, Genii Automotive, Genii Technology and Genii Energy.

During a long career in European industry and government, Sir Charles has been President of BAE Systems, Chairman of the medical research company Microsulis and Head of Commercial at Airbus Industrie. Sir Charles is a former senior British Government official within the UK Ministry of Defence and Chairman of Transatlantic Business Development (TABD) where he represented some 800 major European companies in trade negotiations between the European Union and the USA Government. Sir Charles also brings extensive knowledge of business in the Middle East and was formerly a member on the Board of The Qatar Foundation.
